A diagram reflecting on the spatial and hierarchical relationships between shapes. Three layers. The “foundation” (the horizontality of black), the intersection (the verticality of red), the predominance (the sovereignty of blue). The vertical red lines intertwine with the horizontal black lines in a balance of contrasting overlaps, a “textile” intersection of visual complexity. The blue, with its ascending path, crosses the center of the composition and, unlike the black and red, connects with the edges, acting as a superior unifying principle. The figures, formed by irregular filaments (which sometimes converge randomly to form small, denser patches, while maintaining a transparency that allows the underlying canvas, with its warm, earthy depth, to breathe), symbolize both the attempt to control (the geometric rigor of the figures) and randomness (the unpredictability of the lines), that is, the nature of a theory itself: a structure that seeks to bring order to the chaotic and organic flow of elements.
