Lying in the studio in search of relaxation, eyes imperceptibly open enough to catch certain shades of color from paintings on the walls, enough to empty mind, tailoring out spaces of those colors, in which wander freely and pleasantly ...

The 'Studio' series includes those works that arise from the desire to start an artistic creation for which I have no clear idea or direction at the beginning. The moment of the day when I am working, a colour at hand rather than another, the eye that falls on the marker instead of a brush or pencil... perhaps chance or inspiration or instinct. Transported by the sensations and emotions of the moment, I establish a dialogue with the work, finally finding an idea and a direction to follow.
