Studio numero 3

(Blocked expansion)

Distinctive geometric shapes occupy the space, each with lines extending from their angles toward the edge of the canvas. However, these lines encounter an obstacle if they come across another geometric shape, interrupting and creating a dynamic balance between expansion and limitation in geometric space.

The 'Studio' series includes those works that arise from the desire to start an artistic creation for which I have no clear idea or direction at the beginning. The moment of the day when I am working, a colour at hand rather than another, the eye that falls on the marker instead of a brush or pencil... perhaps chance or inspiration or instinct. Transported by the sensations and emotions of the moment, I establish a dialogue with the work, finally finding an idea and a direction to follow.
