During a visit to the Officina della Scrittura museum in Turin, a quote from L'Encyclopédie de Diderot et d'Alembert, translated into Italian, was painted on a wall: "The art of writing is based, like drawing, on two lines, the straight and the curved. It is these that produce all the forms that the spirit can create and the hand execute."
